To prevent collisions while moving, ATLANTE is equipped with anti-collision sensors with radar vision that automatically reduce speed in the presence of obstacles.
Real-time patient weight monitoring thanks to the exclusive WEIGHING SYSTEM, designed to ensure a high degree of accuracy.
Thanks to the sensors located at the corners of the bed, the load is better distributed and the reading level more accurate. It is possible to record patient weight data and to view the corresponding graphics on the touch screen both in Kg and Lb. In addition, customized alerts can be set up through the weighing system, which are useful for proper patient monitoring.

The patented PAS SYSTEM backrest movement system facilitates patient repositioning manoeuvres by optimally combining the movements
of the backrest and mattress.
This active adjustment prevents the patient from sliding towards the bottom of the bed, reducing the risk of pressure injuries that are often the cause of pressure ulcers.
The movement of the backrest takes place simultaneously in three directions: tilting, shifting and raising, while the mattress remains integral with the mattress platform, keeping the patient in the correct position.
Moving patients, especially if they cannot cooperate, is always a sensitive step for the hospital staff.
The lateral tilt of the ATLANTE mattress platform, which can be operated from any side of the bed allows clinical procedures, medication and other activities to be performed safely even by a single operator. The inclination of the mattress platform provides dynamic support for the patient in conditions of prolonged immobility.Customised rotation programmes can be set via the touch screen console, with configuration of the number of cycles, times and angles.
WHY ATLANTE?
The broad radiotrasparent area of ATLANTE bed allows radiological examinations to be performed without the need to move the patient.
ATLANTE enables the use of the most common diagnostic imaging equipment directly from the bed.
The X-ray cassette holder can also be pulled out with the backrest in a horizontal position, avoiding the need to move the patient at the end of the examination.
ATLANTE has a touchscreen console and a physical console with an LED-illuminated keyboard.
The panels make it easy to check the controls while working from any position and in any bed position.
During adjustment, the backrest performs three simultaneous operations: it rotates, translates and pulls upwards, while the air mattress, which is divided into three sections, enhances those operations by moving together with the mattress platform, preventing the compression of the pelvis area and self-centering the patient on the mattress.
The lateral tilting function can also be programmed from the touch screens to activate automatically, through the “rotational system” function.
The automatic inclination allows, without engaging healthcare workers in strenuous activities, for preventing complications deriving from a prolonged stay in the same position such as pressure ulcers.
Moving the patient to bed, especially if he cannot cooperate, is always a delicate time for hospital staff.

With Atlante, you can activate the Lateral Tilt from any side: from the touch console, or from the pedals.

GLOBE provides active and dynamic support for the patient by alternating contact points to distribute pressure effectively, thanks to individual pressure cells .
The system works with continuous or alternating low pressure to ensure prolonged comfort and an optimal resting position. The mattress length adjusts automatically
according to the bed movements.
