The backrest can be equipped with an x-ray cassette holder for chest x-ray examinations, without moving the patient and at any angle of the backrest.
In addition to the digital touch screen, the bed can be operated by means of controls located on the outside of the safety sides, featuring LED lights for night vision.

The patient controls located on the inside of the safety sides can be inhibited by the nursing staff.
During adjustment, the backrest performs three simultaneous operations: it rotates, translates and pulls upwards, while the air mattress, which is divided into three sections, enhances those operations by moving together with the mattress platform, preventing the compression of the pelvis area and self-centering the patient on the mattress.
The lateral tilting function can also be programmed from the touch screens to activate automatically, through the “rotational system” function.
